THE DRAGON'S SONG

I missed my wings
I missed my teeth
I missed the fire I had spit
I missed the wind beneath my feet
I missed each and everything
I forgot what it was to fly
To be a dragon once again
To rule the skies once again
To look in to your eyes
And speak the words
I wished to hide
There is no freedom in the land
Which we’re bound so unwillingly
There is no hope for those who lie
Who cheat and run all their lives
The only thing that matters most
Is to know that you’re lost
When you’re lost
So give me back my wings again
My fangs,my fire, my scales, my teeth
Break the bonds that held me back
Give me the courage that I lack

Can’t catch up fast

And youth starts to slip away
